Description

This creamy pasta recipe with chicken and mushrooms is a comforting and delicious dish, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner. The combination of tender chicken, sautéed mushrooms, and a creamy sour cream-based sauce is simply irresistible. I often prepare it when I need something rich and easy to make. It takes very little time to get it ready and is always a success. You can use any type of pasta you like, although ribbons or spirals work very well to collect the sauce. Go ahead and try it, you'll love it!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 1 piece chicken breast
  • 0.25 container flour
  • 1 pinch salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 container sour cream
  • 1 container chicken broth
  • 1 container mushrooms
  • 1.5 tsp paprika
  • 1 bunch pasta

Preparation (6 steps)

Coat the chicken

Cover the chicken breast with the flour, salt and pepper. Set aside.

Melt the butter and oil

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

In the Thermomix bowl, add the butter and olive oil. Program 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Brown the chicken

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/Varoma/Speed 1/Giro a la izquierda Varoma Reverse

Add the breaded chicken to the Thermomix bowl and program 5 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1/Reverse direction. Make sure the chicken is browned on all sides. If necessary, add a few more minutes.

Add the remaining ingredients

Thermomix® Setting
25 min/212°F/Speed 1/Giro a la izquierda 100 Reverse

Add the sour cream, chicken broth, mushrooms and paprika to the Thermomix bowl. Stir with the spatula to integrate the ingredients. Program 25 Min./100°C/Stufe 1/Reverse direction.

Cook the pasta

Meanwhile, cook the pasta in a pot with boiling salted water according to package directions. Drain well.

Mix the pasta with the chicken

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/Speed 1/Giro a la izquierda/140°F 60 Reverse

Pour the drained pasta into the Thermomix bowl with the chicken and mushroom sauce. Gently mix with the spatula to combine all ingredients. Program 1 Min./Stufe 1/Reverse direction/60°C to heat the pasta.
