Description

This dish of chicken breasts in tequila is a recipe that I often prepare when I want something tasty and quick. The combination of aged tequila with fresh cream and mushrooms creates a delicious sauce that perfectly complements the chicken. It is ideal for a special dinner or to surprise your guests. Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 2 piece Chicken breast
  • 100 g Bacon
  • 100 g Mushrooms
  • 150 g Crème fraîche
  • 0.5 piece Red onion
  • 200 ml Aged tequila
  • 20 g Butter
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper

Preparation (8 steps)

Chop the red onion

Place half a red onion in the bowl and chop for 3 seconds at speed 5.

Add butter and sauté

Add 20 g of butter to the bowl and sauté for 3 minutes at 120°C at speed 1.

Add bacon and mushrooms

Thermomix® Setting

Add 100 g of bacon and 100 g of mushrooms to the bowl. Cook for 5 minutes at 100°C at speed 1.

Cook the chicken breasts

Remove the mixture from the bowl and set aside. In a pan, heat a little oil and fry the chicken breasts (2 units) seasoned with salt and ground black pepper until golden brown on both sides. Set aside.

Prepare the tequila sauce

Pour 200 ml of aged tequila into the bowl and cook for 3 minutes at 70°C at speed 2.

Add the fresh cream

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/140°F/Speed 2 60

Add 150 g of fresh cream to the bowl and mix for 2 minutes at 60°C at speed 2.

Incorporate the bacon and mushroom mixture

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/140°F/Speed 1 60

Add the mixture of bacon, mushrooms and reserved onion to the bowl. Mix for 1 minute at 60°C at speed 1.

Serve

Place the chicken breasts on a plate and cover with the tequila and mushroom sauce. Serve hot.
