Description

This carrot pizza is a vegetarian dish that is ideal as finger food or a main course. Preparation with the Thermomix® is quick and easy. The pizzas are perfect for parties or as a snack in between. They can also be frozen and baked again when needed. The main ingredients are carrots, olive oil and spelt flour.

Spelt flour

Preparation (6 steps)

Chop carrots

Cut carrots into coarse pieces and place in the mixing bowl. Chop for 5 sec./speed 5.

Cook carrots

20 min/212°F/Speed 1 212°F

Add carrots to the mixing bowl with 500 ml water and cook for 20 min./100°C/speed 1.

Purée carrots

30 sec/Speed 8

Purée cooked carrots for 30 sec./speed 8. Use a spatula to push everything down from the edge.

Prepare dough

2 min/Kneading speed

Add olive oil and spelt flour to the carrot purée in the mixing bowl. Knead for 2 min./kneading stage. If necessary, add more flour until a firm dough forms.
