Description

Fluffy Poffertjes are a breeze to make with the Thermomix®. This simple recipe for Dutch mini pancakes requires milk, flour, eggs, butter, and dry yeast. Preparation takes about 80 minutes, including resting time, and yields 4 servings. Ideal as a sweet breakfast or dessert for the whole family.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 450 g Milk
  • 7 g Dry Yeast
  • 50 g soft Butter
  • 300 g Flour
  • 2 Stück Eggs
  • 1 Pr. Salt
  • 1 EL Sugar

Preparation (4 steps)

Mix milk and dry yeast

Thermomix® Setting

Add 450 g milk and 7 g dry yeast to the mixing bowl and heat for 3 min./37°C/speed 1.

Add remaining ingredients and mix

Add 50 g soft butter, 300 g flour, 2 eggs, 1 pinch of salt and 1 tbsp sugar and mix for 30 sec./speed 4.

Let the dough rise

Let the dough rise in a warm place for 30-60 minutes.

Bake Poffertjes

Heat a special Poffertjes pan or a normal pan with a little butter. Add small portions of dough and bake until golden brown on both sides.
