Description

This marinated fish (salmon, trout or mackerel) is a simple and delicious dish that is perfect as an appetizer or finger food. With a working time of 30 minutes and a preparation time of 60 minutes, it is easy to prepare and ideal for pre-cooking. The recipe is designed for 6 servings and fits well into the spring season.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 600 g Salmon half or trout fillet
  • 2 piece Mackerels
  • 1 bunch Dill
  • 50 g Salt
  • 30 g Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • fresh Horseradish
  • Baguette

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare fish fillets

Cut the fish fillets cleanly and run your finger against the direction to track down any remaining bones. Pluck these out with tweezers. Wash the fillets again and pat dry with kitchen paper.

Prepare marinade

Mix 50 g salt, 30 g sugar and the very finely chopped dill in a bowl.

Marinate fish

Place the fillets skin-side down on a plate. Spread the salt-sugar-dill mixture evenly over the fillets. Cover with cling film and marinate at room temperature for half an hour.

Remove marinade

Rinse the fillets briefly and pat dry again well.

Refine fish

Now cover with the finely chopped dill and drizzle with 2-3 tbsp olive oil. Marinate again for half an hour.

Serve fish

To serve, cut the fillets (without skin) into half-centimeter wide strips and arrange on a plate. Serve with freshly grated horseradish and baguette.
