Description

Dieses Gericht ist ein echter Sattmacher und perfekt für einen gemütlichen Abend. Saftiges Hähnchenbrustfilet, umwickelt mit herzhaftem Speck und überbacken mit einer rauchigen BBQ-Sauce und Parmesan – da läuft einem doch das Wasser im Mund zusammen! Dazu gibt es cremiges Kartoffelpüree mit Röstzwiebeln und knackiges Gemüse. Die Zubereitung ist unkompliziert und das Ergebnis einfach köstlich. Ideal, wenn es mal schnell gehen muss, aber trotzdem etwas Besonderes auf den Tisch soll. Ein absolutes Lieblingsrezept, das bei Freunden und Familie immer gut ankommt!

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 piece skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 slice smoked back bacon
  • 1 piece red onion
  • 0.5 pack runner beans
  • 2 piece carrots
  • 50 ml BBQ sauce
  • 25 g grated parmesan
  • 4 piece potatoes
  • 100 ml milk
  • 2 tbsp soft cheese

Preparation (9 steps)

Potatoes preparation

Thermomix® Setting

Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Place the potato cubes into the mixing bowl. Add 500ml water. Place the simmering basket into the mixing bowl.

Vegetable preparation

While the potatoes are cooking, wash and trim the runner beans and carrots. Cut the carrots into slices. Place the runner beans and carrots into the Varoma dish and set aside.

Steaming the vegetables

Place the Varoma attachment with the runner beans and carrots on top of the mixing bowl and steam.

Onion preparation

Peel and halve the red onion. Place the red onion halves into the mixing bowl.

Sautéing the onion

Add the vegetable oil to the mixing bowl with the chopped onion.

Mashed potatoes preparation

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

Drain the cooked potatoes and return them to the mixing bowl. Add the milk and soft cheese. Season with salt and pepper.

Adding the onions to the mashed potatoes

Add the sautéed onions to the mashed potatoes in the mixing bowl and stir with the spatula.

Chicken preparation

Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C fan/gas 6. Oil a tray, put the chicken breasts on it and season, then cover each one with two bacon rashers. Put the chicken in the oven for 20-25 mins until cooked through.

Final chicken preparation

Once the chicken is cooked, pour over the BBQ sauce and scatter over the grated parmesan, and return to the oven for 2 mins until the cheese has melted. Serve with the mash, carrots and runner beans.
