Description

This creamy chicken with chipotle is a comforting and flavorful Mexican dish. I prepare it often because it is very easy to make and always triumphs at home. In addition, it can be accompanied with white rice or steamed vegetables for a complete and balanced meal. Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 500 gramos chicken breast in piece
  • 1 tarro cream
  • 200 mililitros evaporated milk
  • chipotle pepper
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • 1 cucharadita oil
  • salt
  • white rice
  • steamed vegetables

Preparation (6 steps)

Chicken with garlic powder

Season 500 grams of chicken breast in pieces with a pinch of garlic powder. Mix well so that all the chicken is seasoned.

Fry the chicken

In a pan, heat 1 teaspoon of oil and fry the chicken, stirring continuously, until lightly browned. The cooking time will vary depending on the size and the piece of chicken you choose.

Prepare the sauce

20 sec/Speed 5

Pour 1 jar of cream, 200 milliliters of evaporated milk and chipotle pepper to taste into the Thermomix glass. Close the glass and program 20 seconds/speed 5 to blend the ingredients.

Cook the chicken in the sauce

Pour the blended sauce over the browned chicken in the pan. Mix well and cook over low heat for 5 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent it from burning or sticking.

Season and reduce the sauce

Check the flavor and, if necessary, add salt to taste. Let it boil and reduce a little for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Serve

Serve the creamy chipotle chicken accompanied by white rice or steamed vegetables.
