Description

This cracker-crusted chicken is a family favorite! I've been making it for years, and it's always a hit. The crushed crackers create a wonderfully crispy coating that seals in the chicken's juices, keeping it moist and tender. Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 2 cups crushed saltine crackers
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • 6 piece skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 0.5 cup margarine, melted

Crush the Crackers

Thermomix® Setting

Place 2 cups of saltine crackers into the Thermomix bowl and crush for 5 Sec./Stufe 8. Transfer the crushed crackers to a shallow bowl.

Combine Cracker Mixture

Add 1 teaspoon of seasoned salt and 1 pinch of garlic powder to the crushed crackers in the shallow bowl. Mix well to combine.

Melt the Margarine

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/122°F/Speed 2 50

Place ½ cup of margarine into the Thermomix bowl and melt for 2 Min./50°C/Stufe 2.

Coat the Chicken

Dip each of the 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves into the melted margarine, then press into the cracker mixture until fully coated. Arrange the coated chicken breasts in a greased large baking dish.

Bake the Chicken

Bake in the preheated oven at 220 degrees C (425 degrees F) until the chicken breasts are no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, approximately 45 to 60 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 75 degrees C (165 degrees F).
