Description

This sautéed chicken with vegetables is a colorful and flavorful dish, perfect for a quick and balanced meal. I love preparing this dish because it is very adaptable: you can easily vary the vegetables according to the season and your desires. The chicken fillets, marinated in soy sauce and sesame oil, become incredibly tender and fragrant. The vegetables, cut into julienne, retain their crunch and provide a pleasant texture. It is an ideal dish for a weekday lunch or dinner, and it is always appreciated by the whole family. The final touch of sesame seeds adds a gourmet and decorative note. A real treat!

Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 400 g Chicken fillets
  • 2 piece Orange carrots
  • 1 piece Red bell pepper
  • 1 piece Green bell pepper
  • 1 piece Yellow bell pepper
  • 1 piece Zucchini
  • 1 barquette Snow peas
  • 2 piece Red onions
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 piece Spring onion
  • to taste Pepper
  • to taste Soy sauce
  • to taste Sesame oil
  • to taste Sesame seeds

Preparation (5 steps)

Chicken marinade

In a salad bowl, mix 400 g of chicken fillets with 7 tablespoons of soy sauce and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Let marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Preparation of vegetables

Peel 2 orange carrots, 2 red onions, 1 spring onion and 2 cloves of garlic. Wash all the vegetables, including 1 red bell pepper, 1 green bell pepper, 1 yellow bell pepper and 1 tray of snow peas. Cut 1 zucchini in half lengthwise, then cut half-moons about 1/2 cm thick. Do the same for the carrots. Cut the peppers and snow peas into fairly thin julienne. Mince the red onions and the spring onion. Chop the garlic and set aside separately.

Cooking the vegetables

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Put 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in the Thermomix bowl. Add the peppers cut into julienne and cook 5 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1. Add the carrots cut into half-moons and cook 3 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1. Add the zucchini cut into half-moons, the snow peas, the minced red onions and the chopped garlic. Cook 3 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1. Add soy sauce to taste and cook 1 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1. Set the vegetables aside in another dish.

Cooking the chicken

In a frying pan, sauté the chicken with the marinade over medium heat, pepper lightly. Cook until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.

Assembly and service

Add all the cooked vegetables to the chicken in the pan and mix well. Sprinkle everything with multicolored sesame seeds when serving. Enjoy hot.
