Description

These mozzarella-stuffed meatballs are a delicious and comforting main dish, perfect for a family meal or a special dinner. Ground beef is mixed with breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, onion and parsley, creating a flavorful base that surrounds a heart of melted mozzarella cheese. Baking the meatballs gives them a golden and crispy exterior, while the interior remains juicy and full of flavor. A dish that always triumphs! I prepare them often and they always ask me to repeat. They are ideal to accompany with a homemade tomato sauce and a side of rice or mashed potatoes. A simple and delicious recipe that you will love!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 500 gramos ground beef
  • 0.5 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 piece egg
  • 1 clove small garlic
  • 0.5 piece chopped onion
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 100 gramos mozzarella cheese in slices
  • 1 pinch parsley

Preparation (4 steps)

Chop garlic and onion

Introduce ½ chopped onion and 1 small garlic clove in the bowl. Program 3 seconds/speed 5.

Mix meatball ingredients

Add to the bowl 500 grams of ground beef, ½ cup of breadcrumbs, 1 egg, salt to taste and parsley to taste. Mix for 20 seconds/speed 4.

Form the stuffed meatballs

Remove the mixture from the bowl and, with your hands, form meatballs. In the center of each meatball, place a piece of mozzarella cheese in slices. Close the meatball making sure that the cheese is completely covered.

Bake the meatballs

Preheat the oven to high temperature (200°C). Place the meatballs in a pan greased with olive oil and bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
