Description

This hearty potato lentil goulash is a savory and filling dish, ideal for cold days. With potatoes, sweet potatoes, and lentils, it is rich in fiber and protein. Preparation in the Thermomix® is quick and easy, so you can enjoy a warm meal in no time. Perfect as a main course for the whole family.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 250 g Potatoes diced
  • 1 Stück Sweet potato diced
  • 300 g Lentils cooked
  • 2 Stück Onions
  • 1000 ml Vegetable broth
  • 2 EL Tomato paste
  • 2 EL Paprika powder (1 mild and 1 smoked each)
  • 2 EL Mustard
  • Spices: Salt, pepper, turmeric, caraway, herbs of choice
  • 1 Schuß Apple vinegar
  • 2 EL Olive oil

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare onions

Peel and halve 2 onions. Place the WunderSlicer V2 on the mixing bowl lid and insert the fine slicer. Pass the halved onions through the WunderSlicer V2 and collect the cut material.

Sauté onions

Add 2 tbsp olive oil and the sliced onions to the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Add tomato paste and spices

Add 2 tbsp tomato paste and 2 tbsp paprika powder (1 mild and 1 smoked each) to the onions in the mixing bowl and sauté for 1 min./120°C/speed 1.

Deglaze with vegetable broth

Add 1000 ml vegetable broth (Sonnentor vegetable soup powder dissolved in hot water) and 1 splash of apple vinegar to the mixing bowl and cook for 5 min./100°C/speed 1.

Add potatoes and lentils

Add 250g potatoes diced, 1 sweet potato diced, and 300g lentils cooked to the mixing bowl and cook for 30 min./100°C/speed 1.

Season and Serve

Add 2 tbsp mustard and spices (salt, pepper, turmeric, caraway, herbs of choice) to the mixing bowl and cook for 5 min./100°C/speed 1. Season the soup and garnish with parsley to serve.
