Description

This marinated chicken in white wine is a traditional recipe with a special touch. The meat is tender and juicy thanks to the marinade in white wine and spices. It is perfect for a family meal or a festive dinner. I prepare it often because it is very easy to make and always succeeds. The marinade gives it an intense and aromatic flavour that combines very well with some roasted potatoes or a fresh salad. Go ahead and try it, you will love it! Also, it can be prepared in advance, which makes it ideal for when you have guests.

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 1 piece chicken
  • 6 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp ground thyme
  • 1 rama parsley
  • 2 container white wine
  • 1 container vinegar
  • 1 chorro olive oil
  • 2 hojas bay leaf
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare the chicken

Cut the chicken into 8 pieces or the drumsticks in two. Season with salt and pepper to taste on both sides. Set aside.

Prepare the marinade

Thermomix® Setting

Peel the garlic cloves and put them in the Thermomix bowl. Add the ground cumin, dried oregano, ground thyme, parsley leaves, vinegar and a glass of white wine. Crush 15 sec./Stufe 7.

Marinate the chicken

Spread the chicken pieces with the resulting mixture. Put the chicken in a dish and drizzle with the rest of the wine and spice mixture. Cover the container with plastic wrap and reserve in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight.

Brown the chicken

After the resting time, put a splash of olive oil in a large frying pan and heat over high heat. Remove the chicken pieces from the marinade (save the resulting liquid) and brown the chicken pieces on both sides in the oil.

Cook the chicken in the Thermomix

Thermomix® Setting
35 min/212°F/Giro a la izquierda/Velocidad cuchara 100 Reverse

Place the browned chicken in the Thermomix bowl. Add the marinade liquid, one more glass of white wine and the bay leaves. Program 35 Min./100°C/Giro a la izquierda/Velocidad cuchara.

Rest and serve

Remove the Thermomix bowl and let the preparation rest covered for a few minutes. Serve the chicken hot.
