Description

This oven chicken with mustard and honey sauce is a dish that I often prepare at home. The combination of mustard and honey gives it a delicious sweet and sour touch that everyone loves. I use free-range chicken because it has more flavor and less fat, but you can use the one you prefer. The preparation is very simple and quick, ideal for a family meal or a special dinner. In addition, it can be accompanied with a fresh salad or roasted potatoes. I hope you like it as much as we do!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 0.5 piece free-range chicken or country hen
  • 1 piece orange (juice)
  • 3 tbsp mustard
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 clove garlic
  • 2 rama rosemary
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 pinch salt

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare the chicken

Cut the chicken into eighths. Place the chicken pieces in an oven-safe dish.

Flavor the chicken

Sprinkle the chopped rosemary leaves, salt and black pepper over the chicken in the dish.

Prepare the mustard and honey sauce

Thermomix® Setting

Pour the orange juice, mustard, honey and peeled garlic cloves into the Thermomix bowl. Chop 15 sec./Stufe 7.

Marinate the chicken

Pour the mustard and honey sauce over the chicken in the dish. Mix well so that the chicken is completely soaked. Marinate for at least 1 hour.

Bake the chicken

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Bake the chicken for 40-45 minutes, basting the meat with the sauce halfway through cooking.
