Description

This grilled chicken in Japanese sauce is a dish that I often prepare when I want something tasty and quick. The marinade makes the chicken tender and flavorful, while the sauce gives it an irresistible exotic touch. Perfect for a summer dinner or a light lunch, it is prepared in a few minutes and requires only a short marinade. The secret lies in the quality of the ingredients and cooking to the right point. Serve it with fresh vegetables for a complete and balanced meal. A guaranteed success!

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • Chicken breast
  • Soy sauce
  • Ginger
  • Mirin (sweet sake)
  • Cornstarch
  • Extra virgin olive oil

Preparation of the marinade

Thermomix® Setting

In the Thermomix bowl, pour the soy sauce, grated ginger and mirin. Mix for 10 Sec./Stufe 3.

Marinating the chicken

Cut the chicken breast into 4-6 pieces. Pour the prepared marinade over the chicken and mix well. Leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Preparing the chicken for cooking

Drain the chicken from the marinade and dry it with absorbent paper. Pass the chicken in the cornstarch, pressing well with your hands to make it adhere.

Cooking the chicken

Heat the extra virgin olive oil in a pan. Cook the chicken for 3 minutes on one side over medium heat.

Adding the sauce and completing the cooking

Turn the chicken, add a little of the reserved marinade and cook for another 3 minutes. Turn the chicken again, wet with the remaining sauce and cook for another 2 minutes.

Cutting and serving

Pass the chicken on absorbent paper to dry it quickly. Cut the chicken into small, thin pieces. Serve immediately accompanied with sliced tomato and celery cut into fillets.
