Description

This poultry dish simmered with cream is a classic revisited for the Thermomix®. The meat, tender and tasty, is coated with a smooth sauce flavored with thyme. A simple delight to make, perfect for a comforting family meal. I often prepare it on Sundays, and it is always a hit. The creamy sauce is just irresistible! Serve it with rice for a complete and delicious dish. A real treat for the taste buds, and so easy to prepare with the Thermomix®!

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 1 piece Chicken
  • 200 ml Fresh cream
  • 1 c. à soupe Dehydrated veal stock
  • 1 c. à soupe Cornstarch
  • 1 noix Butter
  • 25 cl Water
  • 1 pinch Thyme
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper

Preparation (5 steps)

Poultry prepared

Cut the poultry into pieces and remove the skin. In a pan, heat a knob of butter. Brown the pieces of poultry, letting them color slightly. Salt and pepper.

Cooking the poultry

Place the colored pieces of poultry in the Thermomix® bowl. Add the thyme and 25 cl of water. Close the bowl and set the cooking to 100°C for 20 minutes at speed 1.

Sauce preparation

10 sec/Speed 4

Remove the pieces of poultry from the bowl and set aside warm. Keep the cooking juice in the bowl. Add 1 tbsp of dehydrated veal stock and 1 tbsp of cornstarch. Mix 10 Sec./Stufe 4.

Cooking the sauce

5 min/194°F/Speed 2 90

Add the fresh cream to the bowl according to the desired consistency. Set the cooking to 90°C for 5 minutes at speed 2.

Service

Arrange the poultry on a serving plate, then coat with sauce. Serve sprinkled with parsley with rice.
