Description

This layered chia-oat-strawberry pudding, prepared in the Thermomix®, is a healthy and satisfying breakfast or dessert. The main ingredients are chia seeds, oat flakes, strawberries and plant-based yogurt, optionally refined with banana and vanilla. The recipe is vegan and vegetarian. The preparation time is 210 minutes (including cooling time), the active working time is about 30 minutes, sufficient for 2 servings. Ideal for a light cuisine or as a nutritious start to the day.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 15 g Chia seeds
  • 130 g Plant-based yogurt
  • 150 ml Plant drink
  • 100 g Strawberries
  • 50 g Oat flakes
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Vanilla (ground) optional
  • 50 g Banana optional
  • 5 g Wholemeal spelt or oat flour
  • 15 g Nut puree
  • 5 g Honey or syrup

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare chia layer

Mix 15g chia seeds, 20g plant-based yogurt and 50ml plant drink in a small bowl. Sweeten optionally. Place in the refrigerator.

Prepare strawberries

Wash 100g strawberries. Cut half of them into slices, cut the other half into cubes.

Prepare oat layer

In a second bowl, mix 50g oat flakes, 50g yogurt, 100ml plant drink, the diced strawberries, a pinch of salt and optional vanilla. Optionally add 50g crushed banana. Place in the refrigerator.

Prepare crumble

Put the remaining 50g oat flakes, 5-10g wholemeal spelt or oat flour, 15g nut puree, a pinch of salt and 5g honey or syrup into the mixing bowl.

Mix the ingredients for the crumble in the mixing bowl.

Layers

First put the chia pudding into the glass. Then press a few strawberry slices against the glass wall at regular intervals. Pour in the porridge and make sure that the strawberries stay in place. Add a thin layer of yogurt on top. Place the remaining strawberry slices in a circle on the yogurt. And finally top with crumble!

Cool

Cool the layered dessert for 2-3 hours.
