Description

This chocolate pudding with cream from the Thermomix® is a festive dessert for chocolate lovers. The main ingredients are dark chocolate, milk, and vanilla pudding powder. With a preparation time of 30 minutes (plus chilling time), the recipe yields 8 servings. Ideal as a sweet ending to a menu or for special occasions.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 100 g Dark chocolate (70% cocoa), in pieces
  • 1 l Milk
  • 2 Pck. Vanilla pudding powder
  • 10 ml Rum (Alternatively 3 drops rum flavoring)
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 200 g Cream
  • 10 g Vanilla sugar, homemade

Preparation (6 steps)

Chop chocolate

Place 100 g dark chocolate (70% cocoa) in pieces in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec/speed 7. Transfer the chopped chocolate and set aside.

Cook pudding

Add 1 l milk, 2 packets of vanilla pudding powder, 10 ml rum (or 3 drops of rum flavoring) and 100 g sugar to the mixing bowl and mix for 5 sec/speed 5. Then cook for 12 min/95°C/speed 3.

Transfer the pudding from the mixing bowl, cover with heat-resistant plastic wrap directly on the surface to prevent skin formation, and let cool for about 3 hours. Rinse the mixing bowl thoroughly.

Whip cream

Insert the butterfly whisk into the mixing bowl. Add 200 g cream and 10 g vanilla sugar to the mixing bowl and whip on speed 3 until desired stiffness is reached. Observe the consistency carefully. Then remove the butterfly whisk.

Mix pudding and chocolate

Add the cooled pudding and the chopped chocolate to the whipped cream in the mixing bowl. Use the spatula to mix for 30 sec/speed 3 until everything is well combined.

Chill and Serve

Pour the finished cream into a large bowl or 8 dessert bowls and let it infuse in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Serve chilled.
