Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 680 g sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 240 ml heavy whipping cream
  • 25 g freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.125 tsp ground black pepper
  • 0.125 tsp ground nutmeg

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare Sweet Potatoes

Peel 1 ½ pounds of sweet potatoes and cut them into 2-inch pieces. Place the sweet potato pieces into the Thermomix mixing bowl.

Add Ingredients and Cook

Add 1 cup of heavy whipping cream, ¼ cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese, ½ teaspoon of salt, ⅛ teaspoon of ground black pepper, and ⅛ teaspoon of ground nutmeg to the mixing bowl with the sweet potatoes.

Cook Sweet Potatoes

Cook the sweet potatoes in the Thermomix until they are fork-tender. Set the Thermomix to 180 minutes/100°C/Stufe 1.

Mash Sweet Potatoes

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

After cooking, mash the sweet potatoes in the Thermomix for 20 seconds/Stufe 4. Use the spatula to assist if needed.

Scoop the mashed sweet potatoes into a serving dish and serve immediately.
