Description

This Thermomix® recipe for turkey stroganoff in fruity orange-carrot sauce is a hearty main course with turkey, oranges and carrots. Preparation in the Thermomix® takes about 50 minutes and yields 4 servings. Ideal as a festive family meal in autumn and winter. Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 500 g Diced turkey
  • 1 EL Oil
  • 3 Stück Orange(s)
  • 2 Stück Carrot(s)
  • 1 Stück Spring onion(s)
  • 1 Zehe Garlic
  • 1 Stück Ginger
  • 0.5 Stück Chili pepper(s)
  • 50 ml White wine
  • 300 ml Chicken broth
  • 300 ml Cream
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper
  • Lemon juice

Preparation (7 steps)

Fillet oranges and squeeze juice

Peel two oranges so that no white skin remains, and fillet them. Set the fillets aside. Squeeze the remaining orange and collect the juice. Peel the carrots and cut into fine sticks or julienne. Cut the spring onion into fine rings. Finely chop the garlic, ginger and chili pepper. These steps are carried out outside the Thermomix.

Chop vegetables

Put carrot sticks, garlic, spring onion, ginger and chili in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec/speed 5. If necessary, push down with the spatula.

Sauté vegetables

Add the oil to the chopped vegetables in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min/120°C/speed 1.

Deglaze with wine and broth and reduce

Add the white wine, orange juice and chicken broth to the mixing bowl and reduce for 5 min/100°C/speed 1 without the measuring cup.

Add the cream to the mixing bowl and bring to a boil for 3 min/90°C/speed 1.

Add meat and orange fillets

Add the turkey, previously seared in a pan, and the orange fillets to the mixing bowl and heat for 2 min/90°C/Reverse/speed 1.

Season with salt, pepper and lemon juice and, if necessary, thicken with a little sauce thickener. Leave the sauce in the mixing bowl and heat for 1 min/90°C/Reverse/speed 1.
