Description

This whole wheat dwarf bread is a hearty and flavorful bread, ideal for breakfast or as a side dish. With spelt and rye whole wheat flour, it is rich in fiber and keeps you full for a long time. Preparation in the Thermomix® simplifies kneading the dough, and the baking time is about 60 minutes. Perfect for anyone who loves a healthy and tasty bread.

  • 350 g Water
  • Yeast
  • 1 TL Honey
  • 350 g Whole Wheat Spelt Flour
  • 150 g Whole Wheat Rye Flour
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 50 g Sunflower Seeds

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare yeast

Thermomix® Setting

Add 350 g water, yeast and 1 tsp honey to the mixing bowl and mix for 2 min./37°C/speed 2.

Knead dough

Thermomix® Setting
4 min/Kneading speed

Add 350 g whole wheat spelt flour, 150 g whole wheat rye flour and 1 tsp salt and knead into a dough for 4 min./kneading setting.

Let rise

Let the dough rise, depending on the amount of yeast, until it has doubled in size.

Bake

Shape the dough and place in a greased small baking dish. Bake in a cold oven at 230°C for 60 minutes. If the oven is preheated, 50 minutes baking time is sufficient.

Let cool

After baking, let cool on a wire rack.
