Description

This hearty robber's roast, prepared in the Thermomix®, is a savory main course with pork roast, onions, celery, and carrots. The recipe is ideal for Sunday cooking or festive occasions.   • 1 kg Pork roast
  • 2 Stück Onions
  • 200 g Celery
  • 2 Stück Carrots
  • 1 EL Tomato paste
  • 1 EL Mustard
  • 1 TL Paprika powder
  • 0.5 TL Pepper
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 1 TL Marjoram
  • 0.5 TL Thyme
  • 500 ml Broth
  • 1 EL Sauce thickener
  • 2 EL Oil

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare vegetables

Peel and quarter the onions. Peel and roughly dice the celery. Peel the carrots and cut into slices.

Chop onions

Put the onions in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./level 5.

Sauté onions

Add oil to the onions in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/level 1.

Add and sauté vegetables

Add celery, carrots, tomato paste, mustard, paprika powder, pepper, salt, marjoram and thyme to the mixing bowl and sauté for 5 min./120°C/level 1.

Sear the meat

Sear the meat in a separate pan from all sides.

Add meat and broth

Put the seared meat in the mixing bowl. Add broth and cook for 90 min./100°C/reverse rotation level 1.

Thicken sauce

Stir in the sauce thickener and simmer for another 5 min./100°C/reverse rotation level 1.

Season the sauce and add more seasoning if necessary. Serve robber's roast.
