Description

This Ricotta and Chocolate Tart is a real eye-catcher on any Easter table! I make it every year because it is so easy to prepare and tastes simply delicious. The combination of creamy ricotta and melt-in-your-mouth chocolate chips is simply irresistible. And the colorful Easter eggs on top make it a cheerful festive treat. The preparation with the Thermomix® is super easy and fast. Perfect if you don't have much time, but still want to conjure up something special. Try it, you will be thrilled!

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 2 piece eggs
  • 180 g sugar
  • 100 g soft butter
  • 2 ml vial orange flavoring
  • 8 g baking powder for sweets
  • 380 g flour
  • 500 g cow's milk ricotta
  • 125 g chocolate chips
  • chocolate eggs for decoration

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare ingredients for the dough

Put 2 eggs, 180 g sugar, 100 g soft butter and 2 ml orange flavoring in the mixing bowl.

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Kneading speed

Mix the ingredients for 20 sec/speed 4. Add 8 g baking powder and 380 g flour and process for 2 min/kneading level to a smooth dough.

Prepare ricotta filling

Mix 500 g ricotta and 125 g chocolate chips in a bowl.

Shape tart

Roll out the dough on a floured work surface and place in a greased and floured tart pan (approx. 24 cm diameter). Press the edge and prick the bottom several times with a fork.

Pour in filling

Spread the ricotta filling evenly on the dough base.

Bake

Bake the tart in a preheated oven at 180°C top/bottom heat for about 40-45 minutes until golden brown.

Decorate

After cooling, decorate with chocolate eggs.
