Description

This Djuvec rice is a hearty main course with sliced meat, rice, and vegetable broth. The dish is easy to prepare and ideal for student cooking. With a preparation time of about 40 minutes, it's quickly on the table. The parsley adds a fresh note.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 400 g Sliced Meat
  • 300 g raw Rice
  • 6 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1 l Vegetable Broth
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Parsley
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Paprika
  • Oil

Preparation (4 steps)

Fry the Meat

Fry the meat in a separate pan with a little oil and season with salt and pepper.

Add Tomato Paste and Paprika

Add 6 tbsp of tomato paste and 2 tsp of paprika to the fried meat in the pan and sauté briefly.

Add Rice and Vegetable Broth

Add 300g of raw rice, the meat from the pan and 1 l of vegetable broth to the mixing bowl. Add 2 tsp of sugar and 3 tbsp of parsley. Season with salt and pepper.

Let it Simmer

Simmer the Djuvec rice for about 20 minutes on medium heat. Stir occasionally. Depending on the type of rice, the cooking time may vary. Add a little water if necessary.
