Description

This creamy Rice Pudding Classic, prepared in the Thermomix®, is a simple and satisfying dessert or main course. The main ingredients are rice pudding rice, whole milk, sugar and Bourbon vanilla sugar. In just 40 minutes, 4 servings of a warm dessert are created. The recipe is vegetarian, inexpensive and ideal for light cuisine or as a family meal.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 250 g Rice pudding rice - short grain rice
  • 1 Liter Whole milk 3.5%
  • 40 g Sugar
  • 2 Päckchen Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 15 g Butter
  • 1 Prise Salt
  • Cinnamon sugar
  • Cherries or cherry compote

Preparation (6 steps)

Melt butter

Add 15 g butter to the mixing bowl and melt for 2 min./50°C/speed 1.

Sauté rice pudding rice

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/212°F/Speed 1 212°F

Add 250 g rice pudding rice (short grain rice) to the melted butter in the mixing bowl and sauté for 2 min./100°C/speed 1 without the measuring cup. Use a spatula to loosen the rice on the bottom.

Add milk, sugar and vanilla sugar

Add 1 liter of whole milk (3.5% or 1.5% or coconut milk/oat milk), 40 g sugar, 2 packets of Bourbon vanilla sugar and 1 pinch of salt to the mixing bowl.

Cook rice pudding

Close the mixing bowl and cook the rice pudding for 25 min./90°C/gentle stir setting/reverse. Place the measuring cup on top.

Stir rice pudding and finish cooking

10 min/194°F/Gentle stir speed/Linkslauf 194°F

After the time has elapsed, carefully stir the rice pudding with the spatula and cook for another 10 min./90°C/gentle stir setting/reverse. Place the measuring cup on top.

Season and serve

Stir the rice pudding again and season with sugar as needed. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar or serve with cherries/cherry compote as desired.
