Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 3 piece skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
  • 1 piece lemon, quartered
  • 2 teaspoon garlic powder, divided
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper, divided
  • 29 ounce chicken broth
  • 0.25 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 8 ounce rotelle pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest

Prepare Chicken for Baking

Preheat the oven to 175°C (350°F).

Season and Bake Chicken

Place 3 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves in a lightly greased baking dish. Squeeze 1 lemon, quartered, over both sides of the chicken breasts and season both sides using 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder and ¾ teaspoon ground black pepper. Bake in the preheated oven until juices run clear and chicken is no longer pink inside, about 40 minutes.

Prepare Chicken Broth

Pour 2 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth into the Thermomix bowl. Add the remaining 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.

Cook Pasta in Broth

Add ¼ cup fresh lemon juice to the broth. Bring to a boil by cooking for 10 Min./100°C/Stufe 1. Add 1 (8 ounce) package rotelle pasta and cook for 15 Min./100°C/Stufe 1, stirring occasionally with the spatula to prevent sticking.

Add Chicken and Cream

Cut the baked chicken into bite-sized pieces. Add the chicken, 1 cup heavy cream, and 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest to the Thermomix bowl.

Heat Through

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/140°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 60 Reverse

Cook, stirring gently with the spatula, for 5 Min./60°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1 to heat through.
