Description

This hearty tarte flambée with sauerkraut and salami is a real treat! I especially like to make it when I need something quick and still want to put something savory on the table. The sauerkraut provides a pleasant acidity that harmonizes perfectly with the spicy salami. A dollop of sour cream makes the whole thing nice and creamy. Perfect for a cozy evening with friends or as a hearty snack in between. And the best thing: It's super easy to prepare!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 1 can Sauerkraut (425 ml)
  • 150 g Bell pepper
  • 150 g Sour cream
  • 1 gestr. TL Sweet paprika powder
  • 0.5 tsp Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 80 g Salami
  • 0.5 bunch Chives

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare sauerkraut

Place sauerkraut in a sieve, drain well and squeeze with your hands. Then set aside.

Prepare pepper

Clean the bell pepper, wash it, let it drain and cut it into fine cubes. Then set aside.

Prepare sour cream

Thermomix® Setting

Put sour cream, sweet paprika powder, salt and pepper into the mixing bowl and stir for 10 sec./speed 3.

Cover tarte flambée

Remove the tarte flambée dough from the packaging and unroll it directly onto a baking sheet with the baking paper. Spread the pepper sour cream evenly on the dough.

Complete tarte flambée

Spread sauerkraut and diced peppers on the sour cream. Then top with salami slices.

Bake tarte flambée

Bake the topped tarte flambée in a preheated oven (electric oven: 225 °C/ convection oven: 200 °C/ gas: level 4) on the 2nd shelf from below for approx. 15 minutes.

Prepare chives

While the tarte flambée is baking, wash the chives, shake dry and cut into fine rings.

Serve tarte flambée

Take the finished tarte flambée out of the oven, sprinkle with chives and cut into 6–8 pieces. Serve immediately.
