Description

This hearty layered salad with tacos is an absolute hit at any party! I've been making it for years and it's always a hit. The ground meat is nicely seasoned and fried and mixed with a delicious salsa. The fresh peppers, cucumbers and tomatoes provide a crisp freshness, while corn and kidney beans contribute a great texture. The herb crème fraîche makes the salad nice and creamy and the grated Gouda provides the extra cheese kick. It tastes best when it has been able to steep for a few hours. A great dish to prepare in advance and bring along!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 500 g Ground meat
  • 1 Flasche Salsa
  • 3 piece Bell pepper(s), colorful
  • 1 piece Cucumber(s)
  • 4 piece Tomato(es)
  • 1 can Corn, drained
  • 1 can Kidney beans, drained
  • 2 container Crème fraîche with herbs
  • 100 g Gouda, grated
  • 1 Tüte/n Tacos

Preparation (5 steps)

Prepare vegetables

Cut the bell peppers, cucumber and tomatoes into bite-sized cubes. Drain the corn and kidney beans in a sieve.

Prepare crème fraîche

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Add 2 cups of crème fraîche with herbs and the remaining salsa to the mixing bowl and stir for 10 sec/speed 3.

Layer salad

Layer the diced bell peppers, cucumber and tomatoes in that order in a large bowl. Add the drained corn and kidney beans on top. Pour the prepared crème fraîche mixture over the beans.

Prepare ground meat

Brown and crumble 500 g ground meat in a pan. Stir in half a bottle of salsa and let the mixture cool completely.

Finish salad

Spread the cooled ground meat evenly over the salad. Sprinkle 100 g grated Gouda over it. Finally, crumble the tacos and sprinkle them over the salad.
