Description

This hearty layered salad is a real eye-catcher at any party! I really like making it because it is so easy and quick to prepare. The crisp iceberg lettuce, the fresh tomatoes and the spicy ground meat harmonize perfectly with each other. The salsa sauce provides a pleasant spiciness, which is slightly softened by the crème fraîche. And the cheese crust? Simply irresistible! Ideal if you need something quick and still want to put something hearty on the table. Can also be prepared very well!

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 1 piece Head of iceberg lettuce
  • 6 piece Tomatoes, diced
  • 400 g Ground meat
  • 1 piece Onion, diced
  • 150 g Tacos
  • 500 ml Salsa sauce
  • 200 g Cheese (Gouda), grated
  • 2 container Crème fraîche
  • 1 tbsp Salt and pepper

Preparation (6 steps)

Chop onion

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 5

Add the onion to the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Sauté onion

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Leave the chopped onion in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Prepare ground meat

Brown the ground meat in a pan and season with salt and pepper. Do NOT perform this step in the Thermomix.

Layer salad

Preheat the oven to 200°C. First layer the chopped and cleaned lettuce in a casserole dish, then the diced tomatoes, then the diced onions. Now add the tacos on top (crush beforehand in the unopened pack if necessary), then the browned meat.

Add sauce and cheese

Spread the salsa sauce over it. Spread the crème fraîche over this. Finally, sprinkle the grated cheese over it.

Bake

Bake the whole thing for about 5 minutes until the cheese is melted. Do NOT perform this step in the Thermomix.
