Description

This potato-radish salad is a real classic that I particularly like to prepare in spring when the radishes come fresh from the market. The combination of the creamy potatoes, the slight spiciness of the radishes and the hearty sausages is simply unbeatable. The warm broth makes the salad particularly juicy and aromatic. It is quick to prepare and is perfect as a light lunch or as a side dish for grilling. An absolute must for all salad lovers!

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 500 g Potatoes
  • 1 bunch Radishes
  • 1 Paar Vienna sausages or Debrecen sausages
  • 125 g Mayonnaise
  • 120 ml Meat broth or vegetable broth, warm
  • 3 tbsp Chives, fresh or frozen

Preparation (5 steps)

Cook potatoes

Thermomix® Setting
30 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Put 500 g potatoes with peel into the steamer basket. Fill 700 ml water into the mixing bowl, insert the steamer basket and cook for 30 min./Varoma/speed 1. Then let the potatoes cool down a little and peel them.

Prepare radishes and sausages

Wash, clean 1 bunch of radishes and cut into thin slices. Cut 1 pair of Vienna sausages or Debrecen sausages into thin slices.

Chop potatoes

Coarsely chop the peeled potatoes and place in a bowl.

Mix salad

Add chopped radishes, sausages and 3 tbsp fresh or frozen chives to the potatoes in the bowl. Pour 120 ml warm meat or vegetable broth over it and season with salt and pepper. Carefully fold in 125 g mayonnaise.

Let the salad steep

Let the salad steep for 30 minutes at room temperature.
