Description

This hearty minced meat filling for wraps is an absolute hit at any party! I've been making it for years and it's always a hit. The recipe is very simple and quick to prepare, ideal if you need something quick again. The minced meat is combined with fresh peppers, tomatoes and onions and refined with a creamy sauce. The filling tastes good both warm and cold and can be prepared well in advance. Perfect for a cozy evening with friends or as a delicious snack in between. If you like it a little spicier, you can add a pinch of chili.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 500 g Minced meat, mixed
  • 2 piece Bell pepper(s)
  • 1 piece Iceberg lettuce
  • 1 piece Onion(s)
  • 4 piece Tomato(es), medium-sized
  • 200 ml Sour cream or crème fraîche
  • 0.5 Pck. Cheese, grated
  • Salsa
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation (4 steps)

Prepare vegetables

Wash the peppers and tomatoes and cut into small cubes. Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Wash the iceberg lettuce, drain and cut into strips. These steps are carried out outside of the Thermomix.

Chop onions

Put the onion cubes in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Push down with the spatula.

Fry minced meat (pan)

Fry the minced meat in a little oil in a pan, add the onion cubes and season with a little salt and pepper. When the minced meat is cooked through, add salsa (amount as desired), half of the pepper and tomato cubes, 1/4 of the grated cheese and 2 tablespoons of sour cream, mix well and let it steep briefly. This step is carried out outside of the Thermomix.

Fill wraps

Place 3 - 4 heaped tablespoons of the filling in the middle of the wraps, add some of the remaining pepper and tomato cubes, the iceberg lettuce, the cheese and 1 - 2 teaspoons of sour cream and roll or fold the wraps together. Or: Put everything in small bowls and put them on the table with the wraps so that everyone can fill their wraps as they wish. This step is carried out outside of the Thermomix.
