Description

I love preparing these sautéed noodles with chicken and vegetables! It's a complete, quick dish full of Asian flavors. The vegetables remain nice and crunchy, and the hoisin sauce provides an irresistible sweet and salty touch. Perfect for a weeknight dinner or a quick lunch. You can easily vary the vegetables according to the season and what you have on hand. A real treat for the whole family, and so simple to make with the Thermomix®!

Ingredients (16 ingredients)

  • 30 g Green onion(s)
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 45 g Snow pea(s)
  • 100 g Yellow pepper(s)
  • 120 g Chinese noodles
  • 200 g Chicken thigh(s)
  • 30 ml Rapeseed oil
  • Sesame oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 100 g Bean(s)
  • 15 ml Hoisin sauce
  • 15 ml Soy sauce
  • 6 g Sugar
  • 15 ml Rice vinegar
  • 4 g Corn starch

Preparation (9 steps)

Preparation of green onions and garlic

Put 30 g of green onions and 2 cloves of garlic in the Thermomix bowl and chop finely for 3 Sek./Stufe 7.

Vegetable preparation

Cut 45 g of snow peas in half lengthwise and 100 g of yellow pepper into strips. Set aside.

Noodle cooking

Cook 120 g of Chinese noodles in a large pot of boiling salted water until al dente, about 3 min. Rinse in cold water to stop cooking and drain. Set aside.

Chicken preparation

Slice 200 g of chicken thighs into strips. Heat half of the rapeseed oil and sesame oil in a skillet or wok. Sauté the chicken over high heat for 4-5 min until golden brown on all sides. Salt and pepper. Remove the chicken from the wok and set aside on a plate in the oven to keep warm.

Sautéing the green onions and garlic

Add the remaining rapeseed oil to the Thermomix bowl, add the chopped green onions and garlic and sauté for 1 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Adding vegetables

Add the snow peas and pepper to the Thermomix bowl and sauté everything 4 Min./120°C/Stufe 1, stirring often with the spatula. Cover and cook 2 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Cooking the vegetables

Add 100 g of sprouted beans to the Thermomix bowl and cook 2 Min./100°C/Stufe 1.

Sauce preparation

Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix 15 ml of hoisin sauce, 15 ml of soy sauce, 6 g of sugar, 15 ml of rice vinegar and 4 g of cornstarch well. Add to the vegetables in the Thermomix bowl, stirring with the spatula until thickened 2 Min./90°C/Stufe 2.

Adding chicken and noodles

Add the chicken and noodles to the Thermomix bowl. Mix well with the spatula and heat thoroughly for 2 Min./90°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1. Serve immediately.
