Description

This layered dessert with cherries and almonds is a simple sweet dish prepared with the Thermomix®. The main ingredients are butter biscuits, sour cherries, cream cheese and cream. Preparation takes about 80 minutes and yields 6 servings. Ideal as a festive dessert, for summer or winter.

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 100 g Butter biscuits
  • 50 g Butter
  • 1 Glas Sour cherries (pitted and sugared)
  • 300 g Cream cheese
  • 50 ml Milk
  • 1 Pck. Bourbon vanilla sugar
  • 200 ml Whipping cream
  • 1 Pck. Cream stiffener
  • 50 g Powdered sugar
  • 60 g Almond slivers
  • 60 g White chocolate shavings

Preparation (9 steps)

Chop butter biscuits

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 8

Place 100 g butter biscuits in the mixing bowl and chop for 10 sec/speed 8. If necessary, push down with the spatula and repeat the process until fine crumbs are formed.

Melt butter

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/122°F/Speed 2 50

Put 50 g butter in the mixing bowl and melt for 3 min/50°C/speed 2.

Mix biscuit crumbs and butter

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Add the melted butter to the biscuit crumbs in the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec/speed 3.

Prepare biscuit base

Divide the biscuit crumbs among six glasses and press down lightly with a teaspoon. Place the glasses in the refrigerator for one hour.

Drain cherries

Drain 1 glass of sour cherries (pitted and sugared) and drain well.

Prepare cream cheese cream

Place 300 g cream cheese, 50 ml milk and 1 pack of bourbon vanilla sugar in the mixing bowl and stir for 20 sec/speed 3.

Whip cream until stiff

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Speed 3.5

Put 200 ml whipping cream, 1 pack of cream stiffener and 50 g of powdered sugar in the mixing bowl. Insert the butterfly and whisk until stiff for 2 min/speed 3.5. Observe the consistency.

Fold in cream

Carefully fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese cream with a spatula.

Layer dessert

Remove the glasses from the refrigerator and place a layer of cream-cream cheese mixture over the biscuit crumbs. Spread a layer of cherries over it and cover with another layer of cream-cream cheese mixture. Distribute cherries on top and garnish with 60 g almond slivers and 60 g white chocolate shavings.
