Description

Dieser Schokoladen-Kürbis Kuchen ist ein absoluter Genuss, besonders in der kühleren Jahreszeit! Die Kombination aus saftigem Kürbis und intensivem Kakao ist einfach unwiderstehlich. Ich backe diesen Kuchen gerne für Geburtstage oder einfach so, wenn ich Lust auf etwas Besonderes habe. Der Kuchen ist nicht zu süß und durch die Gewürze bekommt er eine wunderbar warme Note. Die Zubereitung ist unkompliziert und der Thermomix® macht es noch einfacher. Mit dem Guss wird er dann zum perfekten Dessert oder Kuchen für den Nachmittag.

Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 2.67 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.67 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1.5 tablespoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 1.25 cups butter, divided
  • 3 piece large eggs, beaten
  • 0.33 cup applesauce
  • 1 can pumpkin purée (15 ounce)
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 0.33 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9-inch fluted tube pan (such as Bundt). No Thermomix settings are needed for this step.

Add 2 ⅔ cups all-purpose flour, ⅔ cup unsweetened cocoa powder, 1 ½ tablespoons pumpkin pie spice, 2 teaspoons baking powder, and 1 teaspoon baking soda to the mixing bowl. Mix for 10 Sec./Stufe 4 to combine.

Transfer the batter to the prepared pan. Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean, about 40 minutes. No Thermomix settings are needed for this step.

Kuchen abkühlen

Cool on a wire rack for 5 minutes. Run a table knife around edges to loosen. Invert carefully onto a serving plate. No Thermomix settings are needed for this step.

Guss zubereiten

Add ½ cup butter, 1 cup brown sugar, and ⅓ cup heavy cream to the mixing bowl. Cook for 5 Min./100°C/Stufe 2 until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is smooth.

Add 1 cup confectioners' sugar to the mixing bowl. Mix for 10 Sec./Stufe 3 until smooth.
