Description

This chocolate whole grain flammeri from the Thermomix® is a delicious dessert with whole wheat flour, cocoa and hazelnuts. Preparation with the Thermomix® takes about 40 minutes and yields 8 servings. The recipe is a simple and inexpensive dessert that is great for children and festive occasions. The whole grain content makes it a slightly healthier alternative to classic chocolate desserts. Ideal as a cold dessert for the whole family.

  • 200 g Whole wheat flour
  • 2 Messerspitzen Cinnamon powder
  • 1 EL Cocoa powder
  • 1 l Milk
  • 150 g Hazelnuts
  • 200 g Cream
  • 2 EL Honey
  • nach Geschmack Cane sugar granules

Mix dry ingredients

Add milk and stir

Add milk to the dry ingredients in the mixing bowl and whisk until smooth with a whisk. 20 sec/level 3

Pour the mixture into the mixing bowl and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. 1 min./100°C/level 2

Let the flammeri swell

Remove the pot from the stove and cover so that the flammeri can swell a little.

Prepare hazelnuts

Set aside 8 hazelnut kernels for garnish. Place the remaining hazelnut kernels in the mixing bowl and grind finely. 10 sec/level 8

Whip the cream until stiff

Add cream to the mixing bowl, insert butterfly whisk and whip until stiff. 2-3 min./level 3.5. Remove butterfly whisk.

Refine the flammeri

When the flammeri is lukewarm, stir in the ground hazelnut kernels and the honey or cane sugar granules. Fold in the whipped cream. 10 sec/reverse/level 2

Divide the flammeri into four or eight serving bowls and garnish with the remaining hazelnut kernels.
