Diese Orange Blueberry Scones sind ein absoluter Genuss zum Frühstück oder Brunch! Ich liebe es, wie die fruchtige Süße der Blaubeeren und das frische Aroma der Orange perfekt mit der weißen Schokolade harmonieren. Die Zubereitung ist unkompliziert und der Thermomix® macht es besonders einfach, den Teig zuzubereiten. Die Scones sind innen weich und außen leicht knusprig – einfach köstlich! Sie sind perfekt für ein gemütliches Wochenende oder als süße Überraschung für Gäste. Ein Rezept, das bei mir immer gut ankommt!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 2.5 cups all-purpose flour, divided
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp white sugar
  • 0.25 cups shortening
  • 0.5 piece white chocolate, chopped
  • 0.33333333333333 cups blueberries
  • 0.5 tsp grated orange zest
  • 0.5 cups milk

Preparation (7 steps)

Ofen vorheizen

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). This step does not involve the Thermomix.

Trockene Zutaten mischen

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 4

Add 2 cups all-purpose flour, baking powder, and sugar to the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 10 Sec./Stufe 4 to combine.

Shortening hinzufügen

Thermomix® Setting
15 sec/Speed 3

Add shortening to the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 15 Sec./Stufe 3 until the mixture has the consistency of fine crumbs.

Weitere Zutaten hinzufügen

Transfer the flour mixture to a large bowl. Stir in the chopped white chocolate, blueberries, and grated orange zest. This step does not involve the Thermomix.

Milch einrühren

Gradually stir in milk into the flour mixture to form a smooth batter. This step does not involve the Thermomix.

Teig kneten

Turn the mixture out onto a floured board; sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup flour. Knead a few times to incorporate flour and form a smooth dough. This step does not involve the Thermomix.

Scones formen und backen

Roll dough out 1/2-inch thick; cut scones with a biscuit cutter to desired size. Place scones on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven until golden, about 15 minutes. This step does not involve the Thermomix.
