Description

This airy semolina pudding from the Thermomix® is a simple and quick dessert with milk, soft wheat semolina and sugar. Refined with vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt, the porridge becomes particularly fluffy by adding egg. Prepared in just 25 minutes, the recipe yields 4 servings. Ideal as a warm dessert or sweet meal for the whole family.

  • 800 ml Milk
  • 80 g Soft wheat semolina
  • 2 EL Sugar
  • 1 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Prise(n) Salt
  • 1 Egg(s)
  • 25 g Butter

Cook semolina pudding

Add 800 ml milk, 2 tbsp sugar, 1 packet vanilla sugar and 1 pinch of salt to the mixing bowl. Bring to the boil for 10 min./100°C/speed 2. Pour 80 g of soft wheat semolina in while stirring through the lid opening and continue cooking for 1 min./100°C/speed 2. Then let it steep for 5 min./100°C/speed 1 without temperature.

Whisk egg white until stiff

Separate egg white from egg yolk. Put egg white in the mixing bowl and whisk with the butterfly for 3 min./speed 3.5 until stiff. Transfer and set aside.

Stir in egg yolk and butter

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/140°F/Speed 2 140°F

Add egg yolk and 25 g butter to the semolina pudding in the mixing bowl and stir for 1 min./speed 2/60°C until the butter has melted.

Fold in beaten egg whites

Remove butterfly. Carefully fold the beaten egg whites into the semolina pudding with the spatula.
