Description

This fluffy semolina pudding is a quick and easy dessert or breakfast that is ready in just 25 minutes. The recipe is vegetarian and suitable for 4 servings. The Thermomix® takes over the cooking and stirring, making the porridge particularly creamy. Ideal for anyone looking for a quick and inexpensive dessert.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 800 ml Milk
  • 80 g Soft wheat semolina
  • 2 EL Sugar
  • 1 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Prise(n) Salt
  • 1 Ei(er) Egg
  • 25 g Butter

Preparation (4 steps)

Boil milk

Put 800 ml milk, 2 tbsp sugar, 1 packet vanilla sugar and 1 pinch of salt into the mixing bowl and bring to the boil for 8 min./100°C/speed 1.

Stir in semolina

1 min/212°F/Speed 2 100

Add 80 g soft wheat semolina to the mixing bowl and stir in for 1 min./100°C/speed 2. Then remove the mixing bowl from the Thermomix and let the semolina pudding stand covered for 5 minutes.

Stir in egg yolk and butter

In the meantime, separate the egg yolk from the egg white. The egg white will be needed later. Return the semolina pudding to the Thermomix. Add 1 egg yolk and 25 g butter and stir for 30 sec./speed 3 until the butter has melted.

Fold in egg white

Beat the egg white until stiff. Carefully fold the egg white into the finished semolina pudding with a spatula.
