Description

This creamy noodle casserole is an absolute highlight! I really like making it because it's so quick and easy. The combination of noodles, fresh vegetables and a creamy sauce is simply unbeatable. I especially like the cherry tomatoes, which become nice and sweet when baked. The casserole is perfect for a quick lunch or a cozy dinner with friends. And the best thing: it's vegetarian and can be prepared easily! If you like, you can of course add other vegetables. A really great dish that is always well received by us!

Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 300 g Noodles - e.g. Penne
  • 200 g Cherry tomatoes
  • 200 g Zucchini
  • 1 piece red bell pepper
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 200 g Cream for cooking
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 Tube Tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp Sweet paprika powder
  • 1 tbsp Italian herbs - frozen
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 150 g Grated cheese - e.g. Gouda

Preparation (6 steps)

Cook noodles

Cook 300g noodles (e.g. Penne) al dente in a separate pot according to the package instructions. I always cook my penne for 8 minutes.

Prepare vegetables

Halve 200g cherry tomatoes. Cut 200g zucchini and 1 red bell pepper into small cubes. Finely chop 2 cloves of garlic.

Prepare sauce

Put 2 cloves of garlic into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 7. Push down with the spatula.

Refine sauce

10 sec/Speed 3

Add 200g cream for cooking, 200ml milk, 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tube of tomato paste, 1 tbsp sweet paprika powder, 1 tbsp Italian herbs (frozen), salt and pepper to the mixing bowl and stir for 10 sec./speed 3.

Mix casserole

Put the cooked noodles, the diced pepper and zucchini in a casserole dish. Pour the sauce from the mixing bowl over it and mix everything well.

Top and bake casserole

Top the casserole with the halved cherry tomatoes and sprinkle with 150g grated cheese (e.g. Gouda). Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees top and bottom heat for 20 minutes.
