Description

This Thermomix® recipe for whole wheat spaghetti with minced meat broccoli sauce is a hearty and quick main course with whole wheat spaghetti, broccoli and ground beef. Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 300 g Whole wheat spaghetti
  • 1 Kopf Broccoli
  • 1 große Tomato
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 400 g Ground beef
  • 2 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 200 ml Vegetable broth
  • 100 ml Cream
  • 1 tbsp Chopped garden herbs - frozen
  • 2 tbsp Grated Parmesan
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Preparation (8 steps)

Cook pasta

Cook the whole wheat spaghetti according to the package instructions in a separate pot. In the meantime, continue with the next steps.

Prepare broccoli

Divide the broccoli into small florets and cook in a separate pot with salted water for 3 minutes. Then quench with cold water to stop the cooking process and preserve the color.

Chop onion and garlic

Peel the onion, halve it and put it in the mixing bowl together with the clove of garlic. Chop for 3 seconds/speed 5. If necessary, use the spatula to push down from the edge.

Sauté onion and garlic

Add the olive oil to the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 minutes/120°C/speed 1.

Fry minced meat

Fry the ground beef vigorously in a separate pan with a little olive oil until it is brown and crumbly. Season with salt and pepper.

Prepare minced meat sauce

Add the fried minced meat to the mixing bowl. Add tomato paste, vegetable broth, cream and the chopped garden herbs (frozen). Stir for 5 minutes/100°C/speed 2 reverse.

Add broccoli and tomatoes

2 min/194°F/Gentle stir speed 90 Reverse

Add the cooked broccoli and the diced tomato to the mixing bowl and fold in for 2 minutes/90°C/gentle stir setting reverse.

Serve

Mix the minced meat broccoli sauce with the cooked whole wheat spaghetti and serve with grated Parmesan.
