Description

This chocolate cinnamon cake is a real classic and super easy to prepare with the Thermomix®. I have been baking it since my childhood and it is always well received, whether for a birthday or just for coffee. The combination of chocolate and cinnamon makes it particularly juicy and aromatic. The chocolate sprinkles give it an extra chocolate kick. The cake is perfect for anyone who likes it uncomplicated and still wants to enjoy a delicious cake. It can also be prepared well in advance and stays fresh for a few days.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 125 g Butter
  • 225 g Sugar
  • 3 piece Egg(s)
  • 1 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 100 g Chocolate sprinkles
  • 0.13 Liter Milk
  • 0.5 tsp Cinnamon
  • 250 g Flour
  • 0.5 Pck. Baking powder

Preparation (4 steps)

Mix ingredients

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/Speed 4

Put 125 g butter, 225 g sugar, 3 eggs, 1 packet vanilla sugar, 100 g chocolate sprinkles, 0.13 liters milk and 0.5 tsp cinnamon into the mixing bowl and mix for 30 sec./level 4.

Add flour and baking powder

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

Add 250 g flour and 0.5 packet baking powder and stir in for another 20 sec./level 4. If necessary, use the spatula to push down from the edge.

Fill dough into mold and bake

Pour the dough into a prepared loaf tin (approx. 25 cm length) and smooth it out. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C top/bottom heat for approx. 60 minutes. Do the chopstick test!

Glaze cake

After baking, let the cake cool down and spread with chocolate glaze.
