Description

This hearty cutlet dish with vegetables is a substantial main course, ideal for parties or a quick dinner. Tender pork cutlets are combined with a spicy sauce of mushrooms, peppers, pickles, and bacon and baked in the oven. Preparation is straightforward and succeeds with the Thermomix® in no time. Perfect for those who like it hearty and uncomplicated.

  • 600 g Pork cutlet
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 250 g Mushrooms
  • 4 Pickles
  • 2 Red bell peppers
  • 80 g Diced bacon
  • 2 EL Tomato paste
  • 200 g Sour cream
  • 250 g Meat broth
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sweet paprika powder
  • 2 EL Parsley, chopped

Preparation (9 steps)

Chop onion and garlic

Place 1 onion and 2 garlic cloves in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 seconds/speed 5. If necessary, push down with the spatula.

Prepare vegetables

Halve 250 g mushrooms, slice 4 pickles, and cut 2 red bell peppers into strips. Have the prepared ingredients ready.

Add and sauté vegetables

Add mushrooms, peppers, and cucumbers to the mixing bowl and sauté for 5 min./120°C/speed 1.

Add 2 tbsp tomato paste and sauté for 1 min./120°C/speed 1.

Prepare sauce

Add 250 g meat broth to the mixing bowl and cook for 5 min./100°C/speed 1.

Refine sauce

Add 200 g sour cream and 2 tbsp chopped parsley and stir in for 20 sec./speed 2/reverse. Season with salt, pepper and sweet paprika powder.

Prepare cutlets

Place 600 g pork cutlets (4 pieces) in a baking dish and season with salt and pepper.

Distribute sauce and bake

Spread the vegetables and sauce over the cutlets and bake the dish at 180 degrees top and bottom heat for approx. 30 minutes.
