Description

This cocoa yogurt Bundt cake is a juicy and aromatic cake that is easily prepared in the Thermomix®. With yogurt and cocoa, it is a delicious treat for coffee and cake. The preparation takes about 65 minutes and the recipe is designed for a Bundt cake pan. Ideal for birthdays or other festive occasions.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 3 Stück Eggs
  • 180 g Sugar
  • 125 g Plain yogurt
  • 100 ml Vegetable oil
  • 250 g Flour
  • 40 g Unsweetened baking cocoa
  • 16 g Baking powder
  • 1 Prise Salt

Preparation (8 steps)

Beat eggs and sugar

Add 3 eggs (room temperature) and 180 g sugar to the mixing bowl and beat for 3 min/speed 4 until a light and frothy mixture is formed.

Add yogurt

Add 125 g plain yogurt (or vanilla yogurt) to the mixing bowl and stir for 20 sec/speed 3.

Slowly pour in oil

Slowly add 100 ml vegetable oil (e.g. sunflower oil) to the mixing bowl in a thin stream while the Thermomix is running. 30 sec/speed 3.

Mix dry ingredients

Mix and sieve 250 g flour (type 405), 40 g unsweetened baking cocoa, 1 packet baking powder (16 g) and 1 pinch of salt in a separate bowl.

Fold in dry ingredients

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the mixing bowl and fold in for 30 sec/speed 3/reverse. If necessary, use the spatula to push down from the edge.

Prepare dough

Pour the dough into a greased and floured Bundt cake pan (24 cm).

Baking

Bake in a preheated static oven at 170°C for 40–45 minutes.

Complete

Let the Bundt cake cool, turn it out of the pan and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
