Description

This Thermomix® recipe for tagliatelle with salmon in a creamy sauce is a quick and easy main course with salmon fillet, tagliatelle, and cream. Preparation takes only 20 minutes and yields 4 servings. Ideal for student cooking and anyone looking for a hearty meal without much effort. The sauce is seasoned with tomato paste and vegetable broth.

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 500 g Salmon fillet without skin - fresh or frozen and thawed
  • 400 g Pasta, e.g. tagliatelle
  • 300 g Whipping cream (32% fat) - or cooking cream (15% fat)
  • 20 g Butter
  • 2 EL Tomato paste - to taste
  • 2 TL Granulated vegetable broth - to taste
  • 1 EL Vegetable oil, neutral - e.g. rapeseed oil, sunflower oil
  • nach Geschmack Black pepper, freshly ground - to taste
  • Fresh lemon - to taste, as desired

Preparation (7 steps)

Cook the pasta

Cook 400 g of pasta (e.g. tagliatelle) in sufficient salted water according to package directions until al dente. In the meantime, continue with the recipe.

Prepare the salmon

Pat 500 g of salmon fillet (fresh or thawed) dry and cut into approx. 2 cm cubes. Set aside.

Fry the salmon

Heat 1 tbsp vegetable oil and 20 g butter in a pan. Fry the salmon cubes in it for approx. 5 minutes on all sides until lightly browned. Then remove from the pan and set aside.

Prepare the cream sauce

Add 300 g whipping cream (or cooking cream) to the mixing bowl. Add 2 tsp granulated vegetable broth and 1-2 tbsp tomato paste. Season with black pepper from the mill.

Bring the cream sauce to a boil

Bring the cream sauce to a boil for 3 Min./90°C/Stufe 2. Then season and, if necessary, add more tomato paste, vegetable broth or pepper.

Add the salmon

Carefully add the fried salmon cubes to the cream sauce in the mixing bowl and heat for 1 Min./90°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1. This will keep the salmon cubes intact.

Serve

Drain the cooked pasta, let it drip dry and serve with the salmon cream sauce. Sprinkle with fresh lemon as desired.
