Description

This savoy cabbage minced meat cake is a hearty low-carb dish that is ideal as a main course. With fresh savoy cabbage, hearty minced meat and a creamy cheese-egg mixture, it is a treat for the whole family. Preparation takes about 75 minutes and yields 6 servings.

  • 1 Stück Onion
  • 2 Zehen Garlic
  • 20 g Olive oil
  • 1 kg Savoy cabbage
  • 100 ml Vegetable broth
  • 1 TL Mustard
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Pepper
  • nach Geschmack Nutmeg
  • 500 g Minced meat
  • 200 g Grated cheese
  • 4 Stück Eggs
  • 100 g Cream cheese

Chop onion and garlic

Peel and quarter 1 onion and put 2 cloves of garlic into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./level 5. Scrape down from the edge with the spatula.

Add 20 g of olive oil to the chopped onions and garlic in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/level 1.

Prepare savoy cabbage

In the meantime, clean the savoy cabbage, quarter it, remove the stalk and cut into bite-sized pieces.

Chop savoy cabbage

Place the prepared savoy cabbage in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./level 4. Scrape down from the edge with the spatula.

Add the chopped savoy cabbage with 100 ml vegetable broth, 1 tsp mustard, salt, pepper and nutmeg to the mixing bowl and steam for 15 min./100°C/reverse rotation level 1.

Sauté minced meat

While the savoy cabbage is cooking in the Thermomix, sauté 500 g of minced meat in a separate pan with a little olive oil until crumbly. Season with salt and pepper.

Add minced meat to savoy cabbage

Add the sautéed minced meat to the savoy cabbage in the mixing bowl and mix in for 5 sec./reverse rotation level 2.

Add 200 g grated cheese, 4 eggs, 100 g cream cheese, salt and pepper to the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec./level 3.

Pour savoy cabbage and minced meat mixture into casserole dish

Pour the savoy cabbage and minced meat mixture into a greased casserole dish.

Spread cheese-egg mixture

Spread the cheese-egg mixture evenly over the savoy cabbage and minced meat mixture in the casserole dish.

Bake cake

Place the casserole dish in the preheated oven and bake at 180°C top/bottom heat for approx. 30 minutes until the surface is golden brown.
