Description

This spinach and courgette tart is a recipe that I often make at home. It is perfect for a light meal or as a starter in a dinner with friends. The combination of spinach and courgette, together with the salty touch of the bacon, makes it irresistible. In addition, it is a great way for children to eat vegetables. The dough is crispy and the filling is creamy. It is prepared in a short time with the Thermomix® and baked until golden brown. A simple, tasty and nutritious dish that always triumphs! Ideal for vegetarians if bacon is omitted.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 150 tsp Milk
  • 50 tsp Oil
  • 1.5 cup Flour
  • 400 g Courgette
  • 450 g Spinach
  • 2 fetas Bacon
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 2 piece Eggs

Preparation (8 steps)

Preparation of the dough

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/Kneading speed

In a small saucepan, heat 150 ml of milk and 50 ml of oil until it boils. Pour the mixture into the Thermomix glass. Add 1.5 cups of flour and mix 2 Min./Kneading level.

Roll out the dough

Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and place it in a previously greased tart tin.

Chop the onion and courgette

Thermomix® Setting
3 Seg./Speed 5

Chop 1 onion into small pieces and 400 g of courgette into cubes. Put the onion in the Thermomix glass and chop 3 Sec./Speed 5. Remove and reserve.

Cook the onion and courgette

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Add a little oil to the Thermomix glass. Add the chopped onion and cubed courgette. Cook 5 Min./120°C/Speed 1.

Add the bacon and spinach

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/212°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 100 Reverse

If using bacon, chop 2 slices into small pieces and add to the glass. Add 450 g of spinach (thawed if frozen). Cook 3 Min./100°C/Reverse rotation Speed 1.

Season and add the eggs

Thermomix® Setting
10 Seg./Speed 3

Season with salt, nutmeg and pepper to taste. Turn off the Thermomix. Add 2 eggs to the glass and mix 10 Sec./Speed 3.

Pour the filling over the dough

Pour the filling over the dough in the tart tin, spreading it evenly.

Bake the tart

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20 minutes, or until the dough is golden and the filling is set.
