Description

This apple cake is a timeless classic, perfect for breakfast or a snack. Its soft texture and enveloping aroma of apples make it irresistible. Preparing it with the Thermomix® is child's play! I often make it when I have guests at home and it is always a great success. The recipe is simple and quick, ideal for those who have little time but do not want to give up a homemade dessert. The apples, cut into small pieces in the dough and into slices to decorate, give a unique flavor and a pleasant humidity. Try it, you won't regret it!

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 3 piece eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 50 ml milk
  • 60 g butter
  • 300 g 00 flour
  • 16 g baking powder
  • 2 piece large apples

Eggs and sugar in the bowl

Insert the eggs and sugar into the bowl. Mix for 2 Min./speed 4.

Addition of milk and melted butter

Thermomix® Setting

Add the milk and melted butter (previously melted in a bain-marie or in the microwave) to the bowl. Mix for 30 Sec./speed 3.

Incorporate flour and baking powder

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/Speed 4

Add the flour and baking powder to the bowl. Mix for 1 Min./speed 4, using the spatula to mix the ingredients well.

Preparation of the apples

Peel half an apple and cut it into small pieces with a knife. Add the apple pieces to the dough in the bowl and mix gently for 10 Sec./speed 2/Left rotation.

Pour the dough into the tin

Prepare a cake tin (about 24 cm in diameter), greasing and flouring it. Pour the mixture into the tin.

Decorate with apples

Peel and cut the rest of the apples into thin slices. Decorate the cake, distributing the slices over the entire surface. Finally, sprinkle with a little sugar.

Baking in the oven

Bake in a static oven preheated to 180°C for about 45 minutes or in a fan oven, preheated to 170°C, also for about 45 minutes.

Cooling and serving

Once the apple cake is cooked, let it cool, then remove it from the mold and serve.
