Description

This avocado tuna tartare with chicory and passion fruit is a refreshing salad, prepared in the Thermomix®. Main ingredients are avocado, sushi-quality tuna, lime and fresh herbs. The gluten- and lactose-free dish is ready in 25 minutes and yields 4 servings. Ideal as a light appetizer, finger food or for summer cuisine.

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 2 Avocados
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 3 Limes, untreated
  • 140 g Tuna, sushi quality
  • 4 EL Olive oil
  • 1 Bd. Basil
  • 0.5 Bd. Dill
  • 2 red onions
  • 2 Chicory
  • 2 EL Passion fruit fruit vinegar
  • 4 TL mild Cream-Horseradish

Preparation (11 steps)

Prepare avocado

Peel, core and dice 2 avocados. Place the avocado cubes in a bowl.

Season avocado tartare

Mix the avocado cubes with salt, pepper and the juice of one lime in the bowl and season to taste.

Prepare tuna

Cut 140 g of sushi-quality tuna into small cubes and place in a separate bowl.

Season tuna tartare

Mix the diced tuna with 1 tbsp olive oil and the juice of half a lime in the bowl. Season with salt and pepper.

Prepare herbs

Pluck 1 bunch of basil and 0.5 bunch of dill and set aside.

Prepare limes

Rinse the third lime with hot water and cut into thin slices.

Prepare onions

Peel 2 red onions and cut into thin slices.

Prepare salad

Clean 2 chicory and detach the leaves. Place the onion slices, chicory leaves and lime slices in a bowl.

Prepare salad dressing

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 5

Add basil, dill, 2 tbsp passion fruit vinegar and 3 tbsp olive oil to the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 5.

Marinate salad

Pour the dressing from the mixing bowl over the chicory mixture. Mix everything well and season with salt and pepper.

Arrange

Place dessert rings (8 cm) on four plates. Arrange the avocado tartare in the ring shape and distribute on four plates each. Arrange the tuna tartare on top and refine with 1 tsp of mild cream horseradish each. Distribute the marinated salad around the arranged tartare. Drizzle with some passion fruit vinegar.
