Description

This melting apple tart is a real delight, perfect for a comforting dessert or a Sunday brunch. The shortcrust pastry, prepared at home, brings a crispy texture that contrasts wonderfully with the sweetness of the caramelized apples. I love the simplicity of this recipe, which highlights the natural flavors of the ingredients. A little brown sugar and vanilla sugar are enough to sublimate the apples, making them melting and fragrant. It's a recipe I often make in the fall, when apples are at their peak. Feel free to add a touch of cinnamon for an even warmer flavor. A real treat for the taste buds!

Ingredients (4 ingredients)

  • 30 g brown sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 6 piece Apples
  • 1 piece homemade shortcrust pastry

Preparation of the apples

Peel the apples and cut them into slices about 0.5 cm thick. Reserve.

Preparation of the shortcrust pastry

Prepare homemade shortcrust pastry according to your usual recipe or use ready-made shortcrust pastry. Roll out the dough and line it in a tart circle.

Assembly of the tart

Arrange the apple slices on the shortcrust pastry in a uniform manner. Sprinkle with 30 g of brown sugar and 1 sachet of vanilla sugar.

Cooking the tart

Put the pie in the preheated oven at 180°C for 40 minutes, or until the apples are well caramelized.
