Description

This cinnamon tiramisu is a festive dessert with mascarpone, low-fat curd, cinnamon and espresso, refined with Amaretto and ladyfingers. Preparation in the Thermomix® takes about 30 minutes, the cooling time is 90 minutes. The recipe yields 6 servings and is ideal as a Christmas dessert or for special occasions. Thanks to the curd, it is a lighter version of the Italian classic.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 500 g Mascarpone
  • 250 g Low-fat curd
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 1 Pck. Vanilla sugar
  • 1 TL Cinnamon
  • 250 ml Espresso, strong
  • 4 EL Amaretto
  • 200 g Ladyfingers
  • 50 g Flaked almonds
  • 1 EL Cocoa

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare mascarpone cream

Thermomix® Setting

Put mascarpone, curd, sugar, vanilla sugar and cinnamon in the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec/speed 3.

Prepare espresso

Brew espresso and let it cool.

Add Amaretto

Add Amaretto to the cooled espresso and stir. 5 sec/speed 2

Soak ladyfingers

Briefly dip ladyfingers in the espresso-Amaretto mix.

Layer tiramisu

Place soaked ladyfingers in a mold, spread with half of the mascarpone cream, sprinkle with almonds. Repeat the process.

Cool

Refrigerate tiramisu for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

Before serving

Sprinkle with cocoa before serving.
