Description

This Advent Tiramisu is a festive dessert that combines the flavors of coffee, chocolate, and gingerbread cookies. Preparation with the Thermomix® simplifies making the cream and chopping the ingredients. With a working time of about 45 minutes and a chilling time of at least 2 hours, it is ideal for the Christmas season. The recipe is designed for 8 servings and is perfect as the crowning finale of a festive menu.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 200 g Ladyfingers
  • 150 ml Espresso
  • 2 EL Amaretto
  • 4 Stück Egg yolks
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 1 Päckchen Vanilla sugar
  • 500 g Mascarpone
  • 200 g Cream
  • 150 g Gingerbread cookies
  • 50 g Dark chocolate

Preparation (10 steps)

Chop ladyfingers

Thermomix® Setting
8 sec/Speed 6

Place 200 g ladyfingers in the mixing bowl and chop for 8 sec/speed 6. Transfer and set aside.

Prepare espresso

Brew 150 ml espresso and mix with 2 tbsp Amaretto. Set aside.

Beat egg yolks, sugar and vanilla sugar

Place 4 egg yolks, 75 g sugar and 1 packet vanilla sugar in the mixing bowl and beat for 3 min/speed 3.5 with the butterfly whisk.

Stir in mascarpone

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Add 500 g mascarpone and stir in for 20 sec/speed 3. Remove butterfly whisk.

Whip the cream until stiff

Thermomix® Setting
2-3 min/Speed 3,5

Pour 200 g cream into the mixing bowl and whip with the butterfly whisk for 2-3 min/speed 3.5 until stiff. The time may vary depending on the cream, so watch the consistency. Transfer.

Fold in the cream

Carefully fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone cream. This can be done outside the Thermomix in a separate bowl.

Chop gingerbread cookies

Place 150 g gingerbread cookies in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec/speed 6. Transfer and set aside.

Grate chocolate

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 8

Place 50 g dark chocolate in the mixing bowl and grate for 5 sec/speed 8. Transfer and set aside.

Layer tiramisu

Place a layer of ladyfingers in a dish and drizzle with espresso-Amaretto mixture. Spread a layer of cream on top. Sprinkle a layer of gingerbread cookie crumbs over it. Repeat this process until all ingredients are used up. Sprinkle with chocolate shavings.

Chill

Refrigerate the tiramisu for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.
